Providers Search: Users can now search providers based on the type of practice where he/she is located. Practice types may be identified as more than one service type. Example: A practice can now be a Community Health Center and Primary Care and Dentistry practice type. This new search allows you to search for any provider that is at a location type that contains your criteria. Example: If I search for providers at a Community Health Center or Primary Care, I will get any practice that contains either option. I will not get providers that are only at both a Community Health Center and a Primary Care clinic. I will get providers that are at least one of those options.

### Added

Zip Code Search: The Universal version now allows users to complete a Practices distance search by zip code. On the Search Practices page, enter the zip code you want to find providers nearest to and the number in miles that you want to search for. Example: Searching for a Community Health Center within 50 miles of Townsend, I would enter 59644 in the zip code field and choose 50 from the distance from dropdown. That will give me all of the Community Health Centers within 50 miles of Townsend.

Specialty Category – Dentistry: A new specialty category of “dentistry” was added to the provider’s search page. This selection filters down the specialty field to those related to dentistry. You will still need to select the dentistry specialties you would like to search.

### Changed

Print Directory Data: The data available in the Print Directory page now includes all primary and secondary locations where a provider sees patients. The Provider’s Search page the produces results into an Excel spreadsheet still only contains primary practice locations.

### Added

Universal Version – Print Directory Builder: A new button named “Print Directory” has been added to the Universal version. Similar to the provider’s search page, this page allows the user to select the providers he/she would like to populate a printable directory. Once the user searches, a page is displayed with the results in a print directory format. The user can then right click and choose to print the file to a printer or to a pdf. Results are limited to 999 providers.

Pediatrics – Hospitalist:  A new provider specialty has been added. Previously hospitalists that specialize in pediatric patients were included under the Hospitatlists specialty, they are now under the new specialty option of Pediatrics – Hospitalist.

Midwifery: A new practice category of Midwifery has been added. Previously these locations were included in the Womens Health category. Midwife locations that have an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in practice are included in WIM. WIM does not track Certified Nurse Midwives or Assistants.

WIM Wyoming: Wyoming provider data is now available in the WIM Datahub.

  • Provider Search: Users now have the option to narrow down the provider search based on the provider’s practice “State”. Users can select “MT” or “WY” or leave blank to receive results from both states.
  • Reports: The WIM Reports now include Wyoming data. Users are able to distinguish between Wyoming and Montana provider data.
  • Mapper:  The WIM Mapper now includes Wyoming provider data. Users can narrow down the provider data based on state and map just Wyoming or Montana data or both.

Primary Care Specialty Category: When searching on the Provider Search Screen and selecting “Primary Care” under the “Specialty Category” listbox, “Urgent Care Medicine” is now a specialty option here.  Using the “Specialty Category” listbox allows you to narrow down the specialties that you will use to search for your list of providers. Urgent Care Medicine has allow been a provider specialty option and is now included as an option for primary care.

  • Pediatricians in WIM:
    • The primary specialty drop down now includes specialty options for pediatricians such as Pediatrics – Cardiology.
    • If he/she is a primary care pediatrician the specialty will be listed as Pediatrics.  If the primary care pediatrician is a primary care pediatrician that also specializes in a another pediatric category his/her primary specialty will be Pediatrics and the secondary specialty will be Pediatrics – Cardiology. If the pediatrician strictly works as a specialist the primary specialty will be Pediatrics – Cardiology.

### Added

  • County Population: You can now narrow down the providers you search for by County Population. For example, under the field County Population, choose to show the Practice Counties of providers in counties with a population over 50,000.  This will narrow down your county options.  You will still need to select any counties that you want to include in your search.  The County Population listbox simply filters the Practice County field. It does not pass county parameters through to your search.

  • Mailing Label Print for Universal Subscribers: Universal Subscribers can now automatically send their provider queries to print to mailing labels.  Mailing labels formatted to fit Avery 5160 template.
    • Search for providers on the PROVIDERS SEARCH screen. Once results are shown, click “Mailing Labels”. On the next screen you will right click anywhere on the screen and choose “print”. You can print to PDF or directly onto your labels loaded in your printer.
    • Maximum 900 labels printed at one time.

  • Access Database Quick Connect: WIM’s API now provides a quick connect option for users to push WIM data directly to a Microsoft Access database. This is an API feature available through API Services Subscription.
  • Universal Subscription Home Screen: A new home screen has been added for Universal Subscribers.  This is where you will search for your company-wide activities and track company-wide mailings.
  • Company-wide Mailings: Universal Subscribers can now track company-wide surveys, newsletters and other mailings going out to provider groups. You can set-up a pre-mailing alert to give other departments in your organization a heads-up that a mailing is going out.  This will allow for collaboration among teams. Attach a copy of the mailing, select the types of the providers the mailing is going to and include instructions about how to participate in the mailing.
    • Standard drop downs have been provided. Groups can customize the drop downs used for their organization.

  • Providers Search Screen: You can now search by Sub Specialty. The Sub Specialty list box will populate based relevant options affiliated with the Primary Specialty you have selected. Leave –Any– selected under Sub Specialty to leave this field out of your search criteria.

  • New Workforce Map: Secondary Specialties – Map provider secondary specialties by county and compare to county population. Example: A provider may have a primary specialty of pediatrics. You will use the Primary Specialties map to map all pediatricians throughout Montana. Montana pediatricians may also specialize and have a secondary specialty of Pediatrics – Surgery or Pediatrics – Hematology.  You will use the Secondary Specialties map to demonstrate the pediatric specialists throughout Montana.
