DENTAL & PSYCHIATRIC HPSAS

WIM Tracking is a contractor for the Montana Primary Care Office (PCO), a division of the Montana Department of Health and Human Services. WIM provides the Montana PCO with data collection and database maintenance services for the Montana Dental Health Profession Shortage Area (HPSA) designations. The HPSA data collection and maintenance process helps the PCO determine what counties, populations and facilities have a shortage of primary care providers. The HPSA designations are used to determine where federal funding is allocated for provider recruiting. This funding is the National Health Service Corps student loan repayment program.
